Castleside crafters group

Castleside Village Crafters

Held weekly on Mondays @ 1pm to 3pm
Cost £3 per session
Bring along your own craft projects and join us for a relaxing couple of hours.
Tea, coffee & biscuits provided, and occasional one of our crafters provides lovely homemade cakes or scones
Some of our crafters even sell their projects at our Monthly Craft Market.
Regular craft workshops and help with new crafts.
In the past we have enjoyed card making and Christmas wreath making sessions, to name just a few.

Castleside sewing bee

Castleside Village Sewing Bee

Held weekly on Tuesday evenings @ 5:30pm to 7pm
Cost £5 per session
Sewing machines are available for new sewers.
A selection of fabrics & patterns are also available.
This is a group of talented beginners, who are willing to share their experiences.
They often undertake joint projects but also bring their own projects to make.
We are always looking for new BEES to joint the group, everyone is welcome.

Castleside art group

Castleside Village Beginners Art

Held weekly on Tuesdays @ 1:15pm to 3:15pm
Why not come along for a chat about the group and what they do.
Each year the group holds an Art Exhibition at Easter In the Village Hall.

Castleside Village Upcycle Workshop.

Upcycle workshops

Held monthly.
Two 3-hour sessions on a Saturday & Sunday.
Occasionally held all day on a Friday. Check the Events Calendar for up-and-coming dates.
Have you ever wanted to Upcycle a piece of furniture but don’t know where to start!
At the workshop you will be taught the basics of preparation, painting, upholstery and some finishes, for example using wax & crackle glaze.
Cost £25 if you have a piece of furniture as your own project.
Cost £35 if you would like a piece of furniture to be sourced for you.
