Held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month @ 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Castleside WI was formed 15th October 1925, and they will be celebrating 100 years in October 2025
All women 18 or over welcome.
Looking for fun, friendship and fulfilment, want to try new things or make a difference with WI campaigns, why not go along to one of their monthly meetings.
Enjoy 3 monthly meetings for £3 each before making a decision about joining the WI annual membership
With many people feeling isolated, as well as pressure because of increased energy costs and the rising cost of living, the Welcome Spaces network aims to support residents across County Durham during the winter months and Castleside Village Hall is proud to be a designated ”Welcome Space” & “Soup and a Chat”
Held weekly every Thursday @ 10am to 2:00pm during winter months

Age UK also runs an Exercise To Music Fitness class between 10:30am & 11:30am.
The Village Hall is somewhere you can go to find company and stay warm, well and safe this winter.
Free tea & coffee refreshments plus a light lunch served at around noon is available for a small donation.
All prepared and served by our valued and dedicated team of volunteers.
